The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine (re responsibility for financing separatism)

The bill (Reg. No. 4822) suggests establish criminal responsibility for financing actions committed in order to violently change or overthrow constitutional order, seize state power, change territory or state border of Ukraine.

Particularly it is suggested to supplement the Criminal Code with a new article 110-1.

The Committee’s members upheld the bill.
